Mother's First Hosts Inaugural Community Baby Shower

This Saturday, August 27, 2022, Ramsey County’s Mothers First program is hosting its inaugural Community Baby Shower. The Mothers First Community Baby Shower is designed to support both new and expecting parents residing in Ramsey County. All our welcome to take part in this celebration and those in attendance will learn about important resources for young families, including free books, how to start a college savings account, where to find gently used maternity and baby clothing giveaways, and access to self-care and other vital services.

This event is free to all, but Mothers First invites families to register in advance at eventbrite.com. There will be goodie bags available for participating families, along with free food, games for kids, raffle prizes, diapers, and maternity and postpartum supplies.

The Community Baby Shower will take place on Saturday (August 27) from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, in the parking lot of the Mothers First headquarters at 1919 University Avenue W, St. Paul. Mothers First Diaper Bank Drive

Ramsey County Mothers First also reminds everyone that its Diaper Bank will continue to take donations every day this week through Saturday, August 27. Please bring your donation of diapers and/or pull-ups to Mothers First at 1919 University Avenue West, Suite 112. Sizes needed include: Preemie (P) and Newborn (N) diapers all the way through size 5; and, pull-ups from size 3T through size 6T.
