Energy Assistance

We Can Help You Pay Your Energy Bills

You know that a house without energy during the Minnesota winter is impossible to endure. Everyone deserves affordable, continuous, and safe utility services. If you encounter issues with energy, we can help you with bill payment assistance, home energy crisis intervention, outreach to vulnerable populations, energy advocacy, information about utility consumer rights, and referrals to our Energy Conservation service and other community agencies.

The Energy Assistance Program enrollment begins October 1.

If you applied last year, we will mail you a 2019-2020 application prior to open enrollment. We cannot accept applications from previous years.
