We Can Help You Pay Your Energy and Water Bills
You know that a house without energy during the Minnesota winter is impossible to endure. Everyone deserves affordable, continuous, and safe utility services. If you encounter issues with energy, we can help you with bill payment assistance, home energy crisis intervention, outreach to vulnerable populations, energy advocacy, information about utility consumer rights, and referrals to our Energy Conservation service and other community agencies.
COVID-19 Program Update
Utility companies have begun sending disconnection notices to customers. The Energy Assistance Program is currently accepting applications for the 2021-2022 heating season.
If you need to apply for the Energy Assistance Program, applications are available below on this website, we can send one to you through regular mail, or they are available for pickup at our two office locations. If you have a disconnection notice or are currently disconnected, please call us at 651-645-6470 to let us know.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, our office walk-in assistance is limited to reduce public interactions. We ask that visitors to our building wear masks and not come in if they have any COVID-19 related symptoms. Most of our staff will be working remotely to process applications and resolve energy crises, but we will have some staff available for urgent requests that cannot be resolved over the phone or email.
Please contact us at eap@caprw.org with questions or for more information about our Energy Assistance program.
