The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has once again extended the deadline for eligible Americans to claim their Economic Impact Payment (EIP) as part of the CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security) Act that was passed by Congress on March 27, 2020. Millions of eligible Americans (including more than 100,000 Minnesotans), who are generally not required to file a tax return, now have until midnight, Saturday, November 21,2020, to submit your EIP request using the non-filers tool at irs.gov.
