MDH to Host Series on Mental Well-Being and Resilience Learning

Tomorrow, August 31, 2021, the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) continues its monthly interactive webinar series designed “for anyone interested in building resilience and promoting mental well-being” in Minnesota homes, schools, and the larger community. The Mental Well-Being and Resilience Learning Community series takes place on the last Tuesday of each month, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. 

Tomorrow’s session is titled “Culture is the Cure: Supporting Traditional Healers and Healing Centered Engagement,” featuring presentations from Kari Umanzor, Dr. Talulpe Monisola Ola, and Elder June Blue. The MDH’s Mental Well-Being and Resilience Learning Community webinar series spotlights:

“Innovative strategies to promote mental well-being and resilience, emphasizing community-based and community-driven initiatives. Gatherings will include practice discussions, sharing similar efforts in your location, relevant research or resources, networking, and planning next steps.”
