Energy Assistance Season Kicks Off

The 2021 Energy Assistance Program Heating Season kicked off on October 1, 2020. Energy Assistance applications were mailed to 2020 approved households beginning in August. New applicants can now either download the 2021 Energy Assistance application at caprw.org, request an application via US Mail, or pick up and/or apply in person at either our St. Paul (for Ramsey County residents) or Oakdale (for residents of Washington County) locations. Visiting either of these locations in person is strictly limited to those who schedule an appointment in advance to uphold safety protocols and reduce the frequency of public interactions during the COVID-19 pandemic.

To make an appointment and/or learn more about eligibility guidelines, required documents, and additional resources (including legal assistance, public utility discounts, and details regarding the Minnesota Cold Weather) please visit Community Action’s dedicated Energy Assistance webpage, email us at eap@caprw.org, or call 651-645-6470.
