Community Action is happy to announce the recipient of our 2025 April Staff Spotlight, Housing Stability Coordinator, Kira Adenwala!
Her nominator said, "Kira is truly the epitome of CAPRW's values and work. By herself, she runs an entire program that is high-crisis and high-demand. Despite how hard the work can get, Kira continues to provide nothing but empathy and transparency for the people she serves. Kira has always been aware that she is sometimes people's last hope to afford their rent and avoid eviction. Finally, even though she runs one of the biggest programs, she still takes on extra responsibilities--such as leading FOP's FUN committee, a group to keep up employee morale with fun activities and plans.“
We are so grateful to have staff members such as Kira that exemplify our mission, vision, and values! Recently we caught up with Kira to learn more about her and how she views her role at Community Action.
