Community Action is happy to announce the recipient of our 2024 November Staff Spotlight, Energy Program Associate, Corey Reuwer!
His first nominator said, "Corey consistently goes above and beyond, not only in his role but as a team player; he consistently helps out in any way that he can and always with a positive attitude. He also regularly helps to empty our dehumidifiers, which fill up regularly throughout the day, which means that leaders (who help as well) can remain focused on what they were doing, more often. He also always offers to help whenever there are requests for volunteer helpers. Overall, Corey is an asset to our department and to the agency; we are lucky to have him.“
His second nominator said, "He always finds ways to help clients who need help outside of what we can do as an agency, as well as advocating for those we can help by giving them a good idea of what Energy Conservation can do for them and what other programs we have at CAPRW if asked."
We are so grateful to have staff members such as Corey that exemplify our mission, vision, and values! Recently we caught up with Corey to learn more about him and how he views his role at Community Action.
