Cash App Taxes Lets People File for Free

While there are many websites that offer user-friendly at-home tax preparation, very few offer this service 100% free of charge to tax filers. Which is why—as tax season comes to a close—we wanted to call attention to Cash App Taxes, a free tax service offered for both federal and state tax returns. This service also does not have an income cap, so anyone can use this service regardless of their income.

Tax filer will have to download Cash App to file through Cash App Taxes, but once tax filers download the app, they will find the service quick and easy to use. Because there is not income cap, anyone can use the service regardless of whether their tax return in simple or complex.

What’s more, Community Action will offer support to tax filers who use Cash App Taxes. Folks who file with Cash App Taxes will be able to receive support from IRS certified staff or Community Action volunteers who will review your questions and respond within 48 hours. To contact Community Action directly with your tax questions, you can reach us at taxwise1@caprw.org.

You can also learn more about Cash App Taxes, download the app, and access our FAQ page at Community Action’s designated Cash App Taxes page.
