City of Saint Paul and Ramsey County Rental Assistance
Are you a renter who is having difficulty paying rent or utilities due to COVID-19?
Don’t wait! Time is running out to apply.
Ramsey County and the City of Saint Paul have teamed up to create the Saint Paul - Ramsey County Rent Assistance Program, a tenant assistance program for Ramsey County renters struggling to pay rent due to the financial burdens of COVID-19. Eligible renters include households that earned 80% or less of area median income in 2020, or in the most recent month.
UPDATE: 4/12/22
Due to the availability of remaining Rental Assistance funding, deadlines for new COVID-19 Rental Assistance applications have been announced. We must receive your application by the following dates to be processed:
- Ramsey County (cities other than the City of Saint Paul): applications need to be submitted by April 15, 2022
- City of Saint Paul: applications need to be submitted by 5pm on April 22, 2022
All applications in our system after those dates will be processed in the order they were received. We are working hard to process all remaining applications and we will post updates if any of this information changes.
