Car Repair Grant

Due to overwhelming demand, the Car Repair Program has temporarily suspended the acceptance of applications. We anticipate re-opening the waiting list in mid-September. Please check back for updates on the status of the Car Repair Program.

Reducing the Cost Burden of Transportation

The Car Repair Grant offers financial help to households in need of car repairs or maintenance. We provide one-time grants limited to $750 per household. Due to the limited number of grants, priority is given to households who rely on their car to continue working, attend school, or support their families.

Approved households are required to get an estimate from their preferred mechanic and pay for the estimate. Grants are paid directly to the vendor who repairs the car.
