Help Me Connect Brings Resources to Families with Young Children

Help Me Connect is an interagency partnership between the Minnesota Department of Education, the Minnesota Department of Health, and the Minnesota Department of Human Services. This comprehensive online navigation tool is designed to connect “pregnant individuals and families with young children (birth to 8 years old) with services in their local communities that empower families to be healthy and safe.”

Among the resources that Help Me Connect enables eligible families to access include healthy development and screening tools; early learning and childcare services; caregiving and community support; health and dental care services; family wellness and mental health support; developmental and behavioral support services; legal aid; disability services and support; assistance in meeting basic household needs; and emergency services. Help Me Connect also provides resource and service links specifically for indigenous children and families living both on and off Tribal Nation lands throughout Minnesota.

For more information, questions, and to connect to resources through Help Me Connect, visit them online or send an email to HelpMeConnect@state.mn.us.
